a friend shared about the documentary Wings of Defeat, which is about the story behind the old Japanese Kamikaze pilots of WWII. i saw the preview, then she alerted me to this follow-up companion film to the movie called Another Journey. it follows USS Drexler surviors Fred Mitchell and Gene Brick to Japan where they meet former Kamikaze for the first time. this youtube scene below is from their meeting with former Kamikaze Ueshima:
