last nite i dreamt a myriad of dreams, set off by what i had been reading online about asia's recent tsunami. in my dream i was floating around the different parts that were affected. i flew there as quickly as i could but...i was invisible, and therefore of no use. when i stretched out my hands to help lift part of a roof for a woman who was looking for her child, the roof went through my hands. i watched helplessly as she struggled to lift, but to no avail. she eventually left despondent. i was screaming at her not to give up, to run and get some assistance, even yelling at her to come over to where i was and try lifting from my position instead. but she couldn't hear me, or see me, or sense my presence there in the least. as she was walking away i heard the faint cry of a baby and buckled to my knees in tears. i woke up to the sound of rain drops hammering down my window.

i know there isn't much tangible help we can give from here, but if you'd like to donate some money for the relief effort, please visit:
